Institute of Standardization of Moldova undertakes to ensure the security of its own information, the information obtained in the course of the business from its business partners, customers and other interested parties, and to ensure its confidentiality, integrity and availability within the limits set by the legislation in force, including Law no. 133 of 08.07.2011 regarding the protection of personal data.

 

 

The mission of the ISM on Information Security Assurance is to protect its information assets against intentional or unintentional internal and external threats, as well as maintaining an efficient and effective information security management system.

 

 

The main objectives in the field of information security are:

a) compliance with the legislation in force on information security, including Law no. 133 of 08.07.2011 regarding the protection of personal data,

b) ensuring the confidentiality of the integrity and availability of the information, within the limits established by the legislation in force, including Law no. 133 of 08.07.2011 regarding the protection of personal data;

c) ensuring efficient, timely and relevant intervention in case of identifying incidents related to the security of information, both of the threatened and of the imminent ones.

 

 

Failure to comply with information security policy, non-compliance with confidentiality, or destruction of ISM's information assets entails liability under applicable law.

 

 As a long-term process, involving diverse and permanent actions, the ISM is committed to allocating resources and ensuring an adequate organizational framework for the implementation of the Information Security Policy.
